Cornerstone Technology is a UK-based financial technology firm founded at the start of 2010.

Founded by long time industry contributor Steve Wilkinson, Cornerstone is focused on helping both buy-side and sell-side firms achieve better value for money and faster time-to-market from their technology assets.

Prior to founding Cornerstone, Steve worked for buy-side systems vendor SimCorp A/S, with global responsibility for product architecture, joining the firm in 2005 as part of SimCorp's acquisition of FIX engine vendor Solutionforge. In addition to co-authoring the FIX engine product, FIX.NET Server (which was used by a range of market participants including the London Stock Exchange and Advent Software), Steve was responsible for product management of the Solutionforge order management system FIX.NET Trader, which went on to become the Order Manager component of SimCorp Dimension.

Cornerstone Technology is a member of FIX Protocol Limited and an active participant in the Algorithmic Trading working group.
